Book rental can be paid via the school office. This payment will include school locker & books for the year. We would ask that book rental is paid before students return to school in August. It can be paid via online banking; please contact the school for details.

Book Rental
How do I get a locker?
Lockers will be allocated during the first 2/3 weeks back. The locker fee is included in the book rental. When the book rental is paid your child will receive their locker complete with books. Journals are bought separately for €15. A combination lock will be given and students will be shown in small groups how to use them.
What will I need to bring on the first day?
The first day will be a half day. It involves an induction programme, meeting class teachers & tutor, getting a journal, a timetable and finding your way around the school. A workbook will be provided. One copy and a pen is all that is needed for the first day, Please bring a snack for a short break at 11am. You will be given a timetable and you can pack your bags with equipment needed for the following day. Please don’t bring a full bag of copies etc on this day as they won’t be needed.
What can I do at lunch/break time?
All students must eat in their allocated areas. All 1st years will be in the school canteen. Lunch is 40 mins, 20 spent eating lunch and the other 20 getting some fresh air/playing sports. Sports are available in the PE hall for the second half of lunch time.
My son/daughter will need additional supports, who will I contact?
Please make an appointment with the principal and bring any supporting documentation/assessments with you. The SEN Dept will be available to support you throughout the year.
I cycle to school, where can I leave my bike?
There is a new secure bicycle enclosure in the car park beside the PE Hall. If you are leaving a bike here it must be locked. It will only be open before and after school for access.
How do I organise my equipment?
We would encourage every student to label all copies with name and subject. If you find it difficult to organise your equipment colour coding books and copies can be helpful.
Is there anywhere to do homework/study after school?
Students can go to the school library after school where they are supervised by the school Librarian.
